1st Hyperion Russia Technology Meeting - 2010

About the Event


On the 3rd and 4th of June 2010, the first Technology Meeting was organised in Moscow by Hyperion Systems Engineering (RUS) with big success.

The event, which was focused on solutions for the Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refining, Petrochemicals and Chemicals sector, was attended by over 100 participants from over 30 companies from Russia and Ukraine.

The program included presentations by specialists from Hyperion Systems Engineering Russia together with colleagues its partners, KBC Process Technology, M3 Technology, Spiral Software and Thermo Scientific which showcased a wide spectrum of solutions and best practices that Hyperion is proposing to the Russian and CIS market in the areas of:

  • Process Modeling
  • Specific Reactor Modeling in Refining and technology to update LP planning systems
  • Laboratory Information Management Systems in Refining, Chemicals and Petrochemicals
  • Multi Blend Optimization Best Practices and latest technology tools
  • Refinery Scheduling Best Practices and latest technology tools
  • Crude Oil Property Analysis and Knowledge Management
  • Operator Training Simulator solutions (OTS)

The event was also highlighted with two customer presentations from the leading Russian methanol producer OAO Metafrax, and the leading refining and petrochemical complex OAO SalavatNefteOrgSintez.

Stavros Spanos Hyperion Russia General Director said at this closing speech on Friday noon, "We are delighted with the success of our event, the first one that we hold in this new era of our company's history.
