As the global economy remains in slow-growth mode, every business must continuously transform itself if it hopes to be successful. In his presentation at the 2nd Annual Hyperion Lecture, Andreas Kramvis talked about his widely applicable, step-by-step, formula to turn businesses into competitive, profitable enterprises. This approach to business transformation has been proven in multiple industries, and it encapsulates a holistic view of the work that needs to be done – from establishing an operating system (“Business Decision Week”) to changing the culture and putting in place the right capabilities and learning processes to help an organization perform at a higher level. Andreas has applied this formula successfully in his current job as president and CEO of a $7 billion, world-leading chemical company, and he has applied it in several other industries throughout his career. Andreas’ business transformation model is detailed in his book ‘Transforming the Corporation: Running a Successful Business in the 21st Century’.

Professor Constantinos Christophides, Rector of the University of Cyprus and Dr Symeon Kassianides, President and CEO of Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd delivered the welcoming remarks at this Second Hyperion Lecture.
